This discounted rate is only available to:
- Students who have failed the CNA exam three times and are required by Texas HHS to complete retraining
- Individuals whose CNA certification has expired and must retake the course before reapplying for the exam
CPR (AHA BLS): $65 (Required, not included in tuition)
Scrubs (navy color): Student must purchase separately

Program Overview
This CNA Refresher Course is approved to fulfill the NATCEP retraining requirement for:
- Individuals who have failed the CNA exam three times
- Individuals with expired CNA certification
Certified Nurse Assistants provide direct patient care and daily living support under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role is critical in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, and residential care facilities—making it a strong entry point into the healthcare field.
What Students Will Review & Learn:
- Basic patient care and hygiene
- Vital signs monitoring
- Patient mobility and safety
- Infection control techniques
- Communication with patients and teams
- Medical documentation and records
- Basic anatomy & physiology
- Nutrition and hydration management
- End-of-life care and compassionate interaction
- Patient rights and ethical considerations
Program Duration
- Total Hours: 100 hours
- 60 hours of classroom or online instruction
- 40 hours of supervised clinical practice
- Format: Hybrid (online theory + in-person lab & clinical)
Admission Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older
- Valid State ID, driver’s license, passport, or green card
- Social Security card
- Education Requirement:
- High school diploma, GED, or transcript (U.S. or international accepted)
- Can be waived with proof of 8th-grade reading/writing level
- Must show proof of expired CNA certificate or failed exam documentation
Additional Requirements
- Navy-colored scrubs
- Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes (for clinicals)
- CPR Certificate (AHA BLS) – required before clinicals

Course Schedule Options
- Weekday Program:
- Online course + 2 days school lab + 5 clinical day
- Lab days: Tuesday & Thursday | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Clinical: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM- 10:00 PM
- Weekend Program:
- Online course + 2 days school lab + 5 clinical day
- Lab day: Saturday | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Clinical: Saturday | 6:00AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM- 10:00 PM
A Final Skill Test Prep Day will be offered before the state exam. CPR training is scheduled before or after the lab session.
Exam & Certification
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the Texas CNA Certification Exam.
They will receive access to schedule the exam through TULIP and Prometric Testing Center.
