DMS Care Training – 2025 School Schedule (May to December)

Our flexible class schedules allow students to begin their courses at any time.
Online Learning with Hands-On Practice
While most of your coursework is completed online, you’ll attend in-person skill sessions and clinical rotations to build real-world experience.
- CNA, PCT & CCMA Programs: Complete hands-on training in 4–10 days
- Phlebotomy Program (CPT): Complete 40 successful blood draws
- All students are required to take an AHA BLS (CPR) course before or after their skill session
School Hours
- Monday – Saturday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (depending on the program)
CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) Program
- Format: Hybrid (Online theory + In-person lab & clinical)
- Start Dates: Every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
- Duration: 2 weeks per session
Schedule:
- Lab Days (4days): 2 Tuesdays and 2 Thursdays | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Clinical Days (5days – 40 hours): Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Final Skill Practice (Optional): Saturdays | 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

CPT (Phlebotomy Technician) Program
Format: Online theory + In-person blood draw lab
Lab Schedule:
- Every Friday PM | 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Requirement: Complete 40 successful blood draws
- Note: Students manage their own time and progress. Start anytime.

PCT (Patient Care Technician) Program
Format: Online theory + In-person lab (8 days) + CNA clinical (2days)
Schedule:
- Clinical: Join CNA clinical during Week 2 (Mon–Fri | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Lab Sessions:
- Join CNA Lab: 2 Tuesdays & 2 Thursdays | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Join CCMA Lab: Fridays AM | 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Skills Lab: join the CNA and CCMA school lab
- 2nd & 4th Wednesday & Thursdays | 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- 1st & 3rd Monday Thursday Skill Session | 8:30 AM- 3:30PM
Note: Start online anytime. Skill sessions are scheduled while you study online.
CCMA (Clinical Medical Assistant) Program
Format: Online + 4 in-person lab sessions
Lab Schedule: (Fridays AM | 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM):
- 1st Friday – Injection
- 2nd Friday – Phlebotomy
- 3rd Friday – EKG
- 4th Friday – EMR
Note: Students start online anytime and attend 4 total lab sessions while progressing at their own pace.
Korean In-person class – CCMA & PCT Course (Optional)
Designed for Korean-speaking students
- Schedule: Every Monday & Wednesday | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Holiday Closures
- Thursday, November 27 – Thanksgiving Day (No Lab or Clinical)
- Thursday, December 25 – Christmas Day (No Lab or Clinical)

To ensure a smooth clinical experience, students must follow these guidelines:

- Navy blue scrubs
- Closed-toe, non-slip shoes
- Hair tied back, minimal jewelry
- Short, clean fingernails
- ID Badge
- Wear your DMS photo ID at all times
- Punctuality & Attendance
- Be on time daily. Tardiness or absence may result in dismissal.
- Report emergencies to your instructor right away.
- Professional Conduct
- Be respectful and communicate clearly with staff and peers
- Instructors will monitor periodically—ask questions and stay engaged!
- Confidentiality
- Never share patient information outside the facility
- Phones & Devices
- No phone use during clinical hours unless approved
- Documentation
- Complete any required journals, logs, or facility paperwork as assigned
