TUITION: $1400
The tuition fee covers all essential costs, including a $150 registration fee, online course tuition, clinical training fees, and necessary class materials. Students must purchase navy-colored scrubs separately for clinical training. The BLS certification is not included and must be obtained separately.
The total tuition for the CNA program is $1,400, which includes a $150 registration fee, $750 course fee, $380 clinical fee, $60 for liability insurance, and $60 for the textbook.
PROGRAM DURATION:
2-4 weeks long, consisting of 100 hours of instruction with 60 hours of Online course and 40 hours of supervised clinical practice.
Program Overview
The CNA program includes hybrid learning with flexible online coursework and scheduled in-person training.
Online Learning
- Students may register at any time.
- Online coursework begins immediately after enrollment.
In-Person Schedule
CNA sessions begin every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month:
- Week 1 – Lab Training at DMS Campus
Monday – Thursday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM - Week 2 – Clinical Practice at Partnered Facility
Monday – Thursday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Admission Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Vaccination record required for clinical (TB, MMR, DTP, COVID)
- Proof of secondary education (HS diploma, GED, or college degree)
– If none: must demonstrate 8th-grade English proficiency - Must pass Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) check
- Must not be on the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR)
- No disqualifying criminal convictions (Texas Health & Safety Code §250.00)
- Navy scrubs required for clinicals

KEY FACTS
- Texas state certification, transferable to other states.
- Two-part exam: written (60 questions and 90 minutes) and skills tests (5 skills performance).
- Around 1,000 practice questions will be provided.
- Three exam attempts allowed; if failed, the course must be retaken to try again.
- After 1 year working at the Long Term Care Facility, tuition will be reimbursed.
