Texas CNA 40-Hour Clinical Course – Accredited by THHS & TWC

This 40-hour clinical-only CNA course is for students who have already completed their classroom (Online Session) and skills lab requirements. Training is conducted at a licensed nursing home in Carrollton, Texas.

This course meets Texas Health & Human Services (THHS) regulations for CNA certification and provides hands-on experience with direct patient care under RN supervision.

• Tuition including registration fee($150 non-refundable) and any supply fee
• Student CPR (AHA BLS) : $65

• Payment plans available. We offer a payment plan for tuition, allowing students to divide the total cost into two or three installments.
• The school is not Title IV approved. No federal financial aid is offered or provided.

*The tuition includes all necessary fees, including the $150 registration fee, clinical practice fee, and required materials. Students are responsible for purchasing their scrubs (Navy color) for clinical practice. The BLS certification is not included in the tuition and must be obtained separately.

 

For admission into Texas CNA 40 hours Clinical Course, DMS Training Center requires proof of the following:

• Must be 16 years or older.
• State Issued ID card from any State, Passport, Green card, or Driver’s License
• Social Security Card
• High school diploma or unofficial high school transcript, GED, College Diploma, or unofficial College transcript is required.
• High School diploma/GED/ College Transcript requirement can be WAIVED if you can display an 8th-grade level reading and writing capability.
• International high school and college diplomas accepted
• A TB test and Immunizations are required (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap)
• Uniforms/Scrubs are also required for clinical practice
• CPR Certificate (before clinical practice)

• 40 hours of clinical practice and 2 days skill labs to prepare the skill exam

Course Schedule: Students can start the course anytime. And the skill session starts every 2weeks (1st & 3rd Monday)

• All students will complete ‘2 days Skill Session and 5 days Clinical Practice (Total 40 hours)’ of CNA skill training.
• Students manage their own time and progress.
• Students will take an ‘AHA BLS (CPR) provider certificate course’ during the Skill session.

CNA- 2 week course (Weekday Daytime)

• School lab 2 days : 8:30-3:30pm
• Clinical practice 5 days: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 2pm-10pm

CNA- 4 week course (Weekend Daytime) 

• School lab 2 days : 8:30-3:30pm
• Clinical practice 5 days: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 2pm-10pm

Exam Schedule: After completing the course, students will get access to schedule the exam at TULIP and the Prometric testing center.
